The cobas® 4000 analyzer system from Roche Diagnostics is a comprehensive and reliable serology (SWA) testing solution, specifically designed for laboratories with a need to process up to 530 tests per hour. With its compact design and ability to minimize operator intervention, cobas® 4000 is suitable for both routine and specialized tests, meeting the diverse needs of small hospitals, private laboratories, or specialized clinics.
The cobas® 4000 system comprises two main analyzers:
- cobas e 411 Analyzer (Immunoassay):
- Performs immunoassays with a throughput of up to 86 tests/hour.
- Has 18 reagent channels and the ability to load 30 samples (disk) or 75 samples (rack).
- Has 02 separate STAT sample loading ports (for the rack loading version).
- Integrated control computer with touchscreen.
- Designed with multiple safety features to ensure sample integrity, reagent checks, and eliminate the risk of cross-contamination.
- cobas c 311 Analyzer (Clinical Chemistry):
- Performs clinical chemistry tests with a throughput of up to 300 tests/hour and 450 ISE tests/hour.
- Provides 42 reagent channels and 3 ISE channels.
- The sample carousel can load 108 samples.
- Offers safety features to ensure sample integrity and reliable reagent checks.
